Bridal alterations Breakdown

Below are the details for each of the individual types of alterations most communally made to wedding dresses.

If you have any questions check out or FAQ page. Or if you would like a price estimate for your specific alterations please contact us today.

Shortening the Hems

Lace, beads, horsehair, net, organza. There are many different materials that make up wedding dress hems but they can all be shortened.

To shorten a wedding dress we will go through each layer and pin mark the floor before folding the fabric up so you can see the finished length of the dress. Each layer will be sewn according to the specific material and you will have a perfectly hemmed wedding dress, allowing you to walk and dance without having to lift the layers as you move.

This is the most common alteration made to wedding dresses and the least we would recommend getting done to your dress. If you are at all worried about hemming your dress please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

We also alter Bridesmaid dresses

In case you didn't know we also offer alterations for bridesmaids. You can either have an appointment with your bridesmaids or they can come individually.
